Yoga Nidra is a practice that includes intention filled guided meditation, gentle stretches, breathing and deep relaxation in which the mind withdraws from the senses and turns inward.
Yoga Nidra takes you deep inside to a threshold state between sleep and wakefulness, a state in which you are very receptive and connected to your intuition. It enables you to find answers within to your problems and concerns. It increases creativity and inspiration and enables you to live a peaceful and meaningful life. It is a beautiful and ancient practice of complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation while still maintaining awareness at the deeper levels.
Yoga Nidra workshops are presented in the spring and the fall at the Yoga Center.
