Mindful Yoga for Children
With Beth Johnson, ERYT200, EdS, LCSW
Saturday, February 29 from 1pm – 6pm and Sunday, March 1 from 9am – 5pm
Mindful Yoga for Children will help you to integrate mindfulness into your teaching of yoga to children. Based on neuroscience, mindful practices can help children and youth to gain self-awareness, to calm themselves in the face of strong emotions, and to increase self-regulation, thus fostering resilience. Based on Beth’s experience teaching yoga and mindfulness to children and teachers in schools, this teacher training is open to educators, yoga teachers, and therapists.
